tRPC sounds fun.
On the design end of things, I'd give TailwindCSS a shot.
I used ChakraUI, but they have a very opinionated design language that I don't like anymore.
Tawaliou ALAO that's understandable. And it depends on the complexity of your app. If it's complex, then it might be worth using a UI library. For Tweton I'm using TailwindCSS only. It's buttons and inputs, nothing else.
