Thank you so much for writing this Sylvia. I see myself through your words because I struggle a lot with networking. My tongue gets tied when I try to speak or I feel like I'm not smart enough to join the conversation in a space. But I believe it's possible and I'd like to give myself the opportunity to try. I know/hope I can do it🤭
Since your first Twitter Space, I've seen you grow so much! You're more active, you speak out, and you're making great connections. It's so important to have a safe way to introduce you to something you're not comfortable with. I'm happy that things are working out for you. Great things are coming your way!
This was a great read, Sylvia. My first (and only) Twitter space was exactly the same; my hands trembled and I walked around while talking, the notes I'd made beforehand were pretty useless so I had to make it up on the spot which I'm not great at. I need to find a friendly safe space to practise.
I love this! I'm hoping to dip my toes into networking as well. My only fear is saying something "stupid".

This is a great read, thank you Slyvia. The fact that I am not alone in this is a great comfort
