informative and nicely written. although for the documenting the technical specification, I believe there are way more popular and used softwares like:

• Jira
• GitHub (/docs, or Wiki, or Project sections)
• Notion (seen some companies use Notion heavily
• Markdown enabled platforms, like the new Writerside.

Google Docs isn't the best for technical docs with code blocks.
