Hi! If you're talking about Git, then it's a just tool which you use to better manage your project and collaborate. I assume this is a generic question. It depends on what you're interested in. I would suggest you to explore repositories on GitHub. There are plenty of projects, in different domains, built in various tech stacks. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with an idea for your side project :)
