Thanks. I found it insightful. I'll have to work a bit on my resume thing.

I'm still irrationally afraid of sitting down and work on my resume hahaha. Even after the advice you game me... Do you think non-software related education would help. (in my case, it is also incomplete so I am very self conscious about it)
Just the same day you published this article I took the time of making my github profile more appealing, so I guess that may be a better "portfolio". Including links to my blog.

I also get really stressed by imagining having a responsibility with a deadline. It paralyzes me. :(

But reading articles like this helps me calm my nerves a bit, and makes me happy knowing that you made it :D

Well, as I said, you need to make a jump to reach water. You can fall too tho 😂 What kind of education is it and why did you drop it? Answer depends a lot on this.
GitHub is the best portfolio I you ever ask me. Recruiters barely look at your portfolio websites anyway, but developer who will look at your GitHub is the one who can get interested. So it’s great that you r made it.
About deadlines. It’s not as bad as you think. Yeah, at times it may be stressful, but it all a lot depends on your company. Normally if environment in the company is good, you won’t be that stressed, so give it a shot 😉

Well in my case, most of the problems I have are because I have ADHD (which was untreated for most of my life). Specially with deadlines. They are my Achilles heel.

I studied a lot of things. at least 5 different majors. But only managed to 'formally' finish one (BSc in psychology). Again, due to ADHD. And almost finished my MSc in cognitive science :(

On the other hand I have noticed that more people are looking at my github, both from linkedIn and from twitter. So i'll keep :D
