It sounds really awesome to go 0 to 100 in such a confident stride! Like you, I'm interested in participating in GSoC 2026 and I'm not sure if I am too late/early but I have been playing around with a few ideas in my head but of course, scope is very important otherwise there's a risk in going all in on the wrong problem.
I have a few questions I would love to get your insight on:
- How did you pick your problem ? What motivated you to discover this task ?
- What motivated your research path ? What details did you pay attention to as you were starting to make sense of what was going on ?
Of course there's more where that came from 🥲, once again thank you for sharing your experience.
