This is a really practical use of generative AI — going beyond code generation into full application scaffolding. The spreadsheet-to-enterprise-app pipeline is something I see constantly with clients who've outgrown Excel but aren't ready for a full custom build. The AI layer bridging that gap is exactly where the most value sits right now. Curious whether the generated APEX code needed much manual cleanup or if it was production-ready out of the box?
There was no generated APEX code, just PL/SQL code and database objects. Regarding cleanup, I would say 2 hours max. Using example code helped, and the requirements were narrow, which also helped.
