Scrimba has a unique learning platform. They use interactive screen casts and project-based learning. When I first checked them out, I did the Learn JavaScript for Free course and built three projects (albeit collaboratively) in a week. It really helped me to understand why I am using JavaScript and how fun it can be! I later decided to do the Frontend Developer Career Path, and I'm about 2/3 of the way through it. I just started learning React! You should check out the free course and see what you think! Tyler Sunderland

CSS wishes, JavaScript dreams
I wish you luck! I started with freeCodeCamp as well, and the JavaScript certification really discouraged me. I do want to finish it eventually, but I migrated over to Scrimba and have had a great learning experience there. I definitely beefed up my JS skills, and I look forward to coding every day! (not an ad lol, I genuinely just dig Scrimba). Thanks for sharing your experience!
