Thank you for sharing! I'm yet to get my first dev job, but how I was ever going to survive when I got one has always been a constant source of worry to me. Even when it comes to applying for roles. I see job descriptions and I feel so overwhelmed and under qualified. This was great. Thank you!

Welcome to imposter syndrome. We all have it to some extent.

To calm you down. I believe the hardest part is actually to start interviewing for the jobs.

My rule of thumb is to apply if I match 50 - 80 percent of the job description. Then it's just a numbers game. Maybe you'll have to apply a lot before you get your first job, but you'll get it eventually.

And once you get it, it's actually pretty hard to get fired. If you're motivated, push yourself and show up every day chances are you'll do much better than the majority of your coworkers. ;)
