Thanks for this article, very interesting to use CephFS and RBD on the same cluster for different tasks! Question: So you run VMs on proxmox on the RBD and on these VMs you then run docker containers which have their data folders mapped to the CephFS file storage (from the same cluster)? So this gives you the flexability to re-install/wipe the VM and/or docker container while the data stays on the CephFS and can be re-mapped on the new install of a VM/docker? How do you get the CephFS mapped into the VMs/docker?

Hi! Great blog post. What do you use to backup CephFS to the NASes? How do you backup the RBD images? Do you mount the RBD images from Proxmox with exclusive lock? Does that prevent you from snapshotting?
