Hey Prathamesh, myself a 12th grader in India. Today, when I am applying to github student developer pack the steps you mentioned after uploading proof of acedemic status weren't asked in my case. Prathamesh Shanbhag

Linus Sunil Yes, Like I mentioned the Step is usually omitted if you use a College Email ID & GitHub has that college & their email added in their list, so they wouldn't ask for proof of Academic Status!
