I love to solve problems :)
Thanks for this article, lol also watched the plural sight tutorial Jim Wilson made me feeling like super man till I carried out my own project 😂😂 tutorials are good, but staying on that tutorial loop won't help you go further.... By the way I love the plural sight tutorial and it helped me alot but it didn't get me to where I need to be, I haven't gotten their yet, but seeing your article makes me believe I'm on the right part
Such a nice reading pal, I share your points cause it happened to me, and I applied almost the same rules that you are describing in your article. Thanks for sharing 👍
Nice piece Ndubuisi Ugwulo!
One another way I found useful in following a example based tutorial is, just read thru the steps, understand and then start the hands-on with similar concepts/objectives. Do not code while reading it!
Refer the tutorial back when stuck. This is time consuming but with well ROI.
Good one by you, thanks!
Great piece bro...I thought I knew programming until I joined hackerrank...it really helped me

Hey, I saw this link in the GADS 2020 Slack channels.
There was something I expected you to mention - Documentation.
I have found that learning how to read Docs is the single best way to hone your development skills.
It can be long and daunting to read, but it's ALWAYS worth it. After all, all those who make tutorials first read the documentation well enough to understand it. Then they experiment with the options to understand it further.
It's also good practice to keep a cheat sheet close at hand.
Further, I would say that it is good to make notes whenever you learn any new tech.
Cheers.
