It's the fact she had receipts of people that actually needed this info that got me. 😂😂 Well done, Timonwa. It really was a nice read.

That was an amazing article. I did used to do this before, but now it doesn’t work for some reason, maybe GitHub improved their responsive website. I skimmed through their HTML code and found an alternative to this solution.

Just go to /fork for that repo. For eg: if the repo is github.com/user/reponame then go to github.com/user/reponame/fork and it will ask for confirmation and you are good to go.

Switching to desktop view still works for me though but next time I want to do it I will try using /fork. Thank you for sharing it

You da real MVP. Desktop mode doesn’t work for me (iPhone w/safari, Firefox, DuckDuckGo, chrome); the button simply fails to appear, even in desktop mode. /fork works, though.
