Thanks. I remember learning Turbo Pascal, VB, C and C++ when I studied programming in college.
Nothing made sense until I learned Python in an introductory module at University.
From this base, in the next 8 years or so, I transitioned successfully to using other languages at work such as Ruby, C#, Java and JavaScript.
Without learning Python, I wouldn't like coding as I do now 🙂

Great read I agree Python is a really good starter language. A lot of the syntax is close to human language so it's quite simple to get to grips with.
