Thanks for this Solidity primer. Coming from a Web2 background of several years, I try to find parallels and analogies to help me understand Web3. Smart Contracts to me sound a lot like cloud functions. What I am struggling to get my head around is the fact that running these latter-day lambdas requires payment ?? Thanks again.
