I am thrilled about your article always. If you can, I guess you have every opportunity to still go back to college and also overcome your fears of being a dropout. I have similar experience and at 26 I decided to go back to college and I still learning software development and no job yet or even internships. But above all I vowed to myself to overcome not being a graduate and also to accomplish my academic goals.
Trecia I am a student , just started coding last month, reading stories like yours make me feel good and are inspiring.
All the best for the rest of your life.
Thank you for sharing your journey and being an inspiration. It was validating to hear other self-taught developers also suffer from self-doubt and imposter syndrome. Glad Iβm not the only one. Keep working hard. Canβt wait to see what you do next.
Your journey is really inspiring, thank you for this wonderful blog.
Congratulations on your job Trecia Kat π₯³π₯³π₯³
It was beautiful hearing your story. Rome indeed was not built in a day - I will keep reminding myself of this.
All the best Trecia π€π€
Thats hella inspiring! Thankyou for sharing and congratulations! I'll remember this post whenever I feel unmotivated keep it up! Never give up!:D
More often than not, all of the videos and blog posts I've read so far with the title of how-I-got-a-job-in-tech-with-no-qualifications usually mean that the OP does have a diploma/degree, just not one that is specialized in tech.
Reading them as someone with only a high school certificate, I find it hard to relate, and that kind of further deepened my inferiority complex.
Your story is the first one I truly resonate with - you have no idea how inspiring you are! I'll be sure to follow your story on Twitter π
Congratulations, Trecia Kat ! π
Keep on doing what you're doing; you're amazing β€οΈ

Amazing! Listening to stories like this, and really that's everyone's uniqueness, leaves me in awe.
You are inspiring! π₯³ Can you tell me which habit improved the most of your coding skills?

I'm haveing some issues with either I continue Uni or not or do I listen to my parent and persu medicine Even though it used to be my dream but now I I'm enjoying being a developer
Also I can relate to the guilt thing that u mentioned in the final thought It is real hard to deal with, but I know both of u will be able to overcome it one day
