This is very early to talk about some changes that I've been incorporating in my daily routine. But I finally feel truly happy ( it has been many days since I actually felt this relieved ) and I think it is worth noting down some observations and tho...
manaswini.hashnode.dev4 min readOh twitter! I was always looking at it. I used to regularly tweet and really pay attention to what everyone was saying on twitter. Twitter is a helpful place. But everyone is living in a state of comparison. Everyone on twitter is achieving something everyday. Sharing the best of there life. I have no problem with any of these. It's just that we humans tend to easily compare our self to other's good and best things. We, in a subconscious way to try to find out the bad portions in our self by comparing to others, so that we don't have to do all this hard work. And for this, twitter is the place. Twitter has not changed since last 5 years I have been on this platform. What has changed is the way I approach twitter. I also felt the need for detox movement that you talked about in your writing. I totally stopped using Facebook, twitter, Instagram and even whatsapp. But what actually helped was moderating my usage.
I used calendar color blocking to help me decide on which day I will be using social media and on which day I will be just focusing on what I need. It really helped.
We need discipline in our life more than we know we do.
holy shi* I wrote a lot.
I think I'm addicted to Twitter now, well being at school takes me away from Twitter.
Probably after my 100DaysOfCode challenge, I'll take some time off 😶
