I think this is everyone's decision. After all, the same profession cannot be liked by absolutely everyone. Although if you look at it in terms of prestige and salary, then this is a really good option. I at the beginning of my career, but I heard a lot of positive reviews about it. Now I'm writing a resume and a professional cv writing service helps me with this. I really hope that a strong resume will help draw attention to my personality.

Also, well done for successfully changing careers. That's not an easy feat! π
Congrats on what you are doing, Alina!
A very important thing in programming is to always have the passion towards creativity, continuous improvement, and knowing that, for a fact, nothing is perfect!
You've put there a lot of great points into "the attitude" of becoming a developer. Technicalities are always to be solved :)
I'm interested on how the switch is happening to you further on, and, happy way forward!
Andrei
Congratulations on your first post!
I am about your age, and have recently started learning to code because of a burning desire for gaining financial (and time) independence, compared to a 9-5 job. For me, the pandemic gave me clarity of thought, to pursue my dreams. The question I asked myself was - if not now, then when? I wish you all the best in your journey! And keep the posts coming...!
Congrats on your first post! You make some great points about the willingness to learn. I've seen a lot of people ask "how long will it take me to know enough to do this job?" and it can be hard for them to accept that it's the kind of job you're ALWAYS learning!
