Thank you for the message. The Tier 1 Support was mentioned during a couple of Oracle Presentations. During those presentations, they noted that Oracle itself has started deploying APEX to the Fusion 'Pods' in preparation for Oracle product teams to have the option to build modules using APEX.
They mentioned that marketing could be the first team to release a Fusion module in APEX, but did not provide any specifics.
My takeaway is that Oracle now fully supports customers extending Fusion with APEX and may now start using APEX themselves for Fusion. I certainly don't think they are about to rewrite existing modules using APEX, however.

Hi Jon Thanks for your blog in general, we are always learning new and smarter ways to use APEX, so thank you. We use APEX alongside our Fusion setup to provide extensions etc., so I am intrigued by the mention of APEX being a tier-1 platform for Fusion and being installed within every Fusion pod. Do you have any more information or links about this and when it will start to be implemented? Thanks Mike
