Web Developer in formation
Hello Marcin Wosinek!
Thank you so much for this article. We highly appreciate your kind words. We're already brainstorming how we can improve our “avoid repetition” suggestions. And there might be an Android version in the future… 👍
We're glad that you like our decent behavior of stepping in. However, our new rephrasing feature may help users who need a complete restructuring of text (or change in tone). It's not a justification, but rather a complement of different uses. You can find this feature next to our synonym function in case you want to try it out!
More information on product updates are published on our blog (category Product Updates).
Have fun while writing wonderful blog posts and getting corrected on the way!

I've found about LanguageTool through one of your previous articles and have been using it for about two months.
Actually, I'm using both Grammarly and LanguageTool (simultaneously), and it's curious when they have different suggestions.
I haven't fully made up my mind, but I do like that LT also corrects me in Portuguese, and that's definitely a selling point for me!
PS: I also didn't know how an em dash was called untill now and I'm shocked how I never noticed that they use it without spaces in English 😳 Portuguese is similar to Polish in that aspect. Glad to learn that! Thanks!
