One more thing I'd like to add is not hosting/showcasing my projects.
Absolutely, you literally start from scratch which catches you off-guard. I too failed to host and showcase my projects which I do regret. I'd say showcase them, we all start somewhere anyway.
I have a lot of trouble asking for help and often lack the confidence to start new projects. Makes me feel a bit relieved knowing others have faced the same difficulties as me.
