Well done for being ambitious and brave enough to want more for you and your family! I have a very similar story as well and come from a retail background. A lot has changed for me in the last few years even before the pandemic hit.

I realised that I'd been building simple websites for years and that I should further the development of my skills, to get to a point of being able to do it professionally.
