Salesforce Report Formats: Tabular, Summary, Matrix, Joined — and When Each One Answers the Question

A few years ago we were setting up a sales dashboard for a manufacturing client — about 200 reps across four regions — and their admin had built every pipeline report as Tabular. Flat lists, clean col
