Very informative post! Even though this is written with DevRels in mind, this is great info to follow for SWEs too, esp building a 1,3, and 6-month plan with your manager and making friends before you need them.

I agree with Kat. This absolutely brilliant post applies to most tech roles, particularly if you're remote. The questions you suggested to start building relationships are gold. On a side note, I have just a small observation. When you say, "I'm still earning to balance..." I think you meant, "I'm still learning to balance...". Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the world. I will definitely continue reading your blog.
