Hello, Elephteria! Excellent blogging article. I agree that blogging is not dead, especially in the age of social media, where your posts and content are buried beneath millions of instant posts.

On a personal note, I began my blog (in French) as an autistic online journal, and an editor approached me about writing a book. This is how I became a writer, but it was also how I met people, friends (and enemies, hehehehe).

I'd rather go with a solution that includes a backup of self-hosted content. In my opinion, relying on a single platform, especially when producing quality content, is not ideal, and I like the idea of really owning what I write.
