I've been using tailwind for over 2 years in my growing SaaS app. And I have to say it's paid off, big time.

I can just sit down, get right to work, "design" in the template view, and even though my app has doubled in size, the CSS has pretty much stayed the same size.

Yes, the HTML is "ugly" in places, but for all the benefits, i'd make that trade any day

Definitely. The 200kb number came from one of the Twitter critiques, I think the number is overstated and, especially with compression, you're actually looking at very small payloads in most cases.
