I am an Aspiring Software Engineer. I am transitioning to a career in tech and on the learning path to Full Stack Software Engineering.
Prior to switching careers, I was a Certified Marriage Coach from being a Customer Relations Professional.
I started this blog to document my journey, network and integrate into the tech community.
I am available for mentorship and/or remote internship on the technical field especially relating to Software projects.
I can so relate with all the emotions you went through because I am currently going through same. When I decided to switch career to tech from a zero tech background, I expected toughness but not on this level. I started from the very basic 'Intro to Programming' on Kaggle. Then I came across ALX Software Engineering Programme which I'll be starting in a few days. I joined a WhatsApp group of fellow applicants waiting to start the program and it has been a rollercoaster of emotions since then. It is the first tech related group I've ever being in and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. But I am sticking with my decision to become a Software Engineer. I just created an account here to document my journey. Infact, this is the second article I am reading here and I say thank you for sharing your experience, it proves my anxiety and overwhelm is not peculiar to me. Now I know I am not alone and have an idea what to expect.
