Thanks for the lovely feedback! You are entirely right about using settings.json in Claude Code for blocking - that's a much better way. There is a significant problem of rule drift. I just examine the context file often like normal code right now to keep it up to date, but I appreciate your concept of dating the rules. I will certainly start doing this...
