It's just a personal preference, and here's mine: I use IntelliJ for both back-end and front-end development. I think that has his pro's and con's, but for me and how we develop here (Java/Angular), it fits perfectly. But like I said... it all comes to the preferences, I have colleagues that use IntelliJ for back-end and VS Code for front-end.
