I am an enthusiastic data analyst with proficiency in SQL, Excel and Power BI. I previously worked as a research assistant as well as sales assistant before making a decision to begin a career as a data analyst in April of 2022. I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and also had all my education in Nigeria as well, the highest being a Degree in Estate Management from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra, Nigeria. My innate ability to work with numbers is evidenced in my roles as Presiding Officer in national elections in 2015 where I accurately entered data on the number of votes cast by different parties. I have also been involved in several data entry tasks while working as research assistant and sales assistant. Having gone a notch higher by pivoting into Data Analysis, I have gotten involved in several real-life projects where data is used in synthesizing insights, solving problems and driving business decisions. Adventure Works project, Redox Airlines project and Nestle projects are some of the projects I have worked on so far. I have a certification in Power BI from Udemy and more certifications are in the pipeline at the moment. I tend to keep my cool while tackling challenges and that has been one of my greatest strengths. In fact, one of my most interesting challenges is data cleaning where I painstaking take my time to inspect raw data for quality issues, type mismatch, spelling errors, outliers, etc. I also relate with a lot of people, and I am accommodating as well. My hobbies include watching movies and gardening.
