I am a long term self-taught web-dev based in Ireland. I started in 2001 as a pure HTML and CSS web designer. I was quickly exposed to PHP and MySQL and spent the next 15 years building and maintaining a network of tourism booking websites from database right through to front-end. After a pandemic-induced track switch I am now a front-end team lead at an e-commerce agency. While I am familiar with a number of language we use in web development, I am continuously learning and adding to my knowledge and tech-stack. Currently I am expanding on my Javascript skills developing headless solutions using Next.js and Gatsby and am working on a personal project based on Laravel.
