The greatest asset of a technical writer is his mind, so even though you are writing about a concept most people already know, the way you present your idea may be unique and provide better insights and understanding. Also, you'd be surprised at the number of people that are just starting out in html just like you, your documentation could help them. lastly, let the aim of your documentation be to first of all simplify complex concepts for yourself, worry about putting it out for other people later.
