Hello! I'm Zean Qin, a software engineer based in Melbourne, Australia.
I love building things that live on the web, whether that be websites, applications, or anything in between.
I'm also a super nerd who loves Vim, Linux and Git and enjoys to customise all of the development environment.
After coding for a few years, I took on machine learning as a new challenge and went to the University of Melbourne to get a master degree with focus on data analysis and machine learning.
When I'm not writing code, you'll probably catch me running, playing games with the boys, or just chilling with my dog.

Yeah, the ch property is very useful and I've only came across it a few days ago. Even with CDNs, I think I still prefer web safe fonts! Same! The delay with downloading custom fonts is inevitable. No matter how much we optimise the font files, we can never predict what kinda of internet connection the user has. I just use web safe fonts all the time :-).
