Brilliant post man, My 2 cents on this: "Will AI replace us in the workforce"...This really depends on the industry, and the feasibility of having robots over humans to do the job. In mass manufacturing and in the wider labour sector, aye the job losses would be huge, in service specific domains, not so much. There is a 'latency' issue with domain specific knowledge and specialisations of services. Here they would have AI used to already augment their highly specialised skillset. Like you mentioned, this particularly novel example of GPT-3 being paired with developers would help in making a whole new ecosystem of AI generated tools and assistive software to help lower the time burden for developers. We are still going to be needed, AI needs human input, it might be smart, but it was us dumb humans that built it.
In that case, I would give you some bear guidance, As a non-native english speaker, it can be extremely hard to get round all the tech jargon that is everywhere, and even worse its having to bend to the english mentality of going from a gender-determinative grammar structure that is your native language, to english where its not really applied. I would say, as a developer, look into JavaScript Internationalisation API Then look at building for the latin market, that is a major untapped resource that if you can bridge between english and spanish on websites you instantly have a service that you can provide that would greatly benefit those around you...
