Thank you SAPNA JHA Good first issues are those which can be picked by beginners looking to contribute (not fully absolute beginners but having some knowledge about the codebase). However, most issues which are easy take a long time to be tagged as good first issues because it is manual work. Best thing to do would be keep an eye on issues which are raised in the repo you contributing and then create a merge request with the solution.

I think PostgreSQL provides a lot of features that would typically need a normal application using NOSQL 2 or 3 different types of databases for the uses cases.

This comes at a cost of managing the memory manually and the greater complexity of the language. Garbage collected languages like javascript, golang, python are considered simpler and easier to learn due to the garbage collector. There is a trade-off between performance and simplicity.
