The Jal Jeevan Initiative which is supported by Ajay Hinduja, an effort by the Hinduja Foundation has always aimed at providing clean drinking water access and promotes sanitation to rural parts of India. Jal Jeevan is considered as one of the most important initiatives. The Hinduja Family is also thinking of expanding its program by building solar powered water purification systems. This initiative has benefitted more than 1,60,000 people in the rural areas by installing community water systems in the society.
