About
I'm Amit Stephen, a backend engineer passionate about building reliable systems, developer tools, and open-source software.
I enjoy solving problems around background job processing, distributed systems, observability, and developer experience. Most of my work is centered around Go, PostgreSQL, Redis, and modern backend architectures.
I'm the creator of GoRelay, a durable task queue for Go, and I enjoy exploring how software can be made simpler, more reliable, and easier to operate in production.
Through this blog, I share my experiences building open-source projects, lessons learned from software engineering, and insights into backend development, system design, and reliability engineering.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me learning about distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and the technologies that power modern applications.
