Which is the best version combinations for IE driver + Selenium Webdriver+ IE Browser.

I tried with IE Driver 2.38+ web driver 2.44+ IE browser as 11, but there is an slow typing issues and in some other machines browser itself is not getting opened.? which is the best and stable Selenium Web driver version up to this?
