I've been in software testing since 2004, and got to accessibility from the perspective of a tester, but along the way I also learned how to code accessible sites.

What are your best tips for getting people on board with web accessibility? How do you create the empathy required for really committing to this? Any "Do this" / "Don't do that" you recommend when talking with people about this issue?
