I am a Cloud and DevOps Systems Engineer managing AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines by day. However, when I build my own side projects under the handle SlashGordon, I completely abandon the backend. I am obsessed with pure client-side architecture. I build zero-backend, browser-native applications using Astro, TypeScript, and Rust compiled to WebAssembly. My development philosophy is strict: no databases, no server maintenance, and zero user accounts. If it can run instantly and securely on the user's local machine, that is how I build it.
