About Me
Hi, I'm Chris.
I am a doctor in Northern Ireland, working in general practice (family medicine) and urgent care.
I created the first version of Ampoule in 2017 to help me manage the drugs in my medical bag. I had been using a spreadsheet, but I rarely remembered to check it!
Ampoule 2 was released in July 2022, with many improvements over the original version.
Ampoule has been used by people all over the world to manage their medicines; from home first aid kits to emergency response teams.
The main main iOS app is written in Swift, using the SwiftUI, Core Data and CloudKit frameworks. A web app is also in development, which uses CloudKit JS as a backend and a lightweight version of Vue (Petite Vue) on the frontend.
