Akintunde Sultan I don't actually have much to add. I will plug that our Grant for the Web program is excited to fund other WM provider models that might help solve this past Coil's current business model, or be more local.

Grant for the Web is currently funding people and projects that will come up with alternative methods to use WM and the Interledger Protocol then streaming at a set rate as Coil does. This could be tipping, one time payments, buyer choose, or other methods. Streaming payments is interesting but there are other models. All of Coil's work is open source so theoretically a content creator/platform could build other models where they set the parameters.
Hi Crescellia and Thanks Sultan Grant for the Web is looking to fund people and projects that are building on/with Web Monetization to create new business models for the web, especially ones that act like the web. One simple way to describe WM is that instead of data packets traveling over the internet, its money.
