Looks like I missed this while doing my research. This seems to cut the price to $350 in our case. This still seems to be a bit on the expensive side. So I'm not missing anything and it actually costs this high to deliver videos over a CDN. 😶

Django Rest Framework has a lot of functionality built right in. I would recommend you have a look at FastAPI as well.
