Developer born and raised in Hawaii with an insatiable appetite to build apps and find waves.
I've been continuously traveling for the past three years while building out software written in Python and Javascript.
Nothing here yet.
I started learning how to code because I wanted to build a website that I believed to be a good startup idea. So, I downloaded an app and began learning HTML and CSS. I decided to go back to school to learn more about programming and there I was taught Python and fell in love. Python is very easy to learn, avoiding all of the complicated syntax involved in other languages.
Okay, I think I'm reaching a similar/same brick wall as you. It takes around 1 minute to get a response back, and the response states: FetchError : invalid json response body at https : //api.hashnode.com/ reason: Unexpected token B in JSON at position 4 Inspecting the dev console shows me the 502 error as well...
Super cool! I'm actually really glad you went out and gave a solid overview of the app. It's odd how it just scrapes the HTML and gives you that to work with. How does it handle sidebars, footers, and things like that? Does it expect you to edit it within their editor? I was thinking of just building a web page that you uploaded your markdown file and had little to no editing available, but maybe giving users the ability to edit is an expected feature.
Oh, super cool! I'm glad you shared that, I was thinking of building out something similar so you just saved me a lot of time. I've recently begun blogging and I was recommended posting across different platforms while setting the canonical URL to my personal blog for increased traffic. I don't see a reason not too, so I plan on posting to as many places as I find so long as it's convenient.
