Most systems work great, until they meet real-world data. I work on everything that happens after that.

About
I’m a back end engineer working on the problems that don’t fit neatly into the product.
That usually means messy data, brittle integrations, and production issues where “correct” solutions collide with real-world constraints.
Most of my work involves building custom pipelines and systems to make things work when they probably shouldn’t.
I write about production incidents, data systems, and the tradeoffs behind shipping under pressure, especially the decisions that aren’t obvious in hindsight.
