Hello James, Thank you for your comment! I am not sure I get your point, but yes, AWS Systems Manager parameters are encrypted and secure! Of course, copying secrets from development to production should work, but the data is not encrypted, and, for security sake, it's not recommended to store secrets in the app code in production. If your app is hosted on AWS, the Systems Manager might be a better solution. That's all the point here.
