The notebooks support in VSCode is good, but I prefer to use .py in percent format (# %%), which makes it easier to manage projects in git - the only caveat is that you lose the output once you close the session. Great article! jupytext changed the way I work. No more issues with git diffs, since I store all my code on .py files but edit them as notebooks :) we have a growing community of Jupyter users, it'd be amazing if you join! ploomber.io/community

Thanks for sharing! Do you know how this is different than using nbconvert? nbconvert also supports converting to slides. We have a growing community of Jupyter fans (ploomber.io/community), it'd be great if you join!
