Talk to a recruiter or two for some perspective on what's getting people hired. This should give you something to target. Then check out training sites (pluralsight, codeschool, egghead.io) and work through as many tutorials as you can. Eventually, you can come around to an idea for a portolio project where you can build, grown, and enhance. Good luck!
