I swap doomscrolling for quiet sites, small facts, and habits that actually help.
I write about simple websites and trying to escape doomscrolling. Most days I fight the same habit as everyone else… open phone, scroll, feel worse. So I started hunting for calmer places online and watching how they actually make me feel.
I like small sites with clear words. GirlWithAnswers for quick questions. Wikipedia for basics. Radio Garden for strange radio noise from other cities. I test these things on myself first, then write about what really helps and what is just nice in theory.
My goal is not to look perfect. I just share honest tricks that make a normal day a bit lighter, so someone reading can think, “ok, I can try that too,” instead of feeling broken all the time.
