I've been suffering for the same reason. Is fly good with non-node related codebases php/Laravel apps for example? I went with Digital Ocean's doplets but it requires some config to host at $6.

I hasn't been so active lately I am reading about the challenge now, but the suggested topics are so good that I am tempted to give a try. Any way thanks for sharing and good look to all the participants.
